ChAP has completed the 2009 update of the Chippenham & Villages Community Plan, based on your views as collected in public meetings and extensive surveys.

Wiltshire Council, Town and Parish Councils, service providers & voluntary organisations will refer to the Community Plan, and consider how they can contribute to its implementation. The Plan will also be taken into account in planning and grant applications.

The Plan will also feed into the Wiltshire Council Local Strategic Partnership, the Wiltshire Strategic Plan & the Local Transport Plan. The Chippenham & Villages Area Community Partnership is tasked to research and publish the Plan and press for the actions to be implemented. 

This Plan has a 10 year horizon: the Partnership has concentrated on projects that can be identified now, but it is recognised that new priorities will emerge during the regular reviews of the Plan.

We have a number of volunteer action teams and will work in partnership with many local organisations to achieve the aims and objectives identified in this Plan. The main ones are listed HERE.
